I intend to use a blog for current issues for accounting classes next semester and will need to learn how to use RSS to ensure that each student gets the updates as published.
I read blogs socially and think they are a good way to get a wide variety of info.
Interesting so far
I have found an interesting blog by a member of college staff called 'The Art Room Plant'. It is used to reflect on what is inspiring the lecturer at the moment and occasionally posts students work.
Blogs are easy to set up but I think it could be difficult coming up with content! Also keeping up regular entries. I like the way you can have web links, pictures and videos.
I haven't gotten into reading other peoples don't think I would use this in my teaching.
As a confirmed emailer tend to be direct with comment and destination
I am impressed by the variety of uses that a blog can be used for.
lots to think about. having a clear purpose is obviously important. a personal blog could be fun - might even lead to a new career!

So far so good.The information about blogs and blogging gives me a totally new way of accessing information and teaching resourcwes. It also provides a totally new of using the web as a tool. it's a whole new world.
The concept of using a blog is a useful tool for allowing learners to engage with 21st Century communications, especially in industries where jobs come via "word of mouth" however even for web 'savvy' individuals and groups, there is a plethora of useful and useless information. Targeting and moderating useful content is an onerous task. Generating meaninful content requires care, time and practice.

My sprint contract expires at the end of this month and I'm planning to switch providers to be able to get a cool phone. I'm stuck deciding between the iPhone 3G or the Blackberry Storm. Hey, i have been having alot of problems wit my CPU and its been very slow and i keep getting those Online Spam pop ups where you get those fake virus scans. I also have problems downloading Programs and opening and using certin programs. It ether doesnt open or cant find certin programs. I officially got sick of it when i bought a 200$ iPod Touch and cant use it due to Itunes never being able to install and always stoping and saying theres a problem with windows installer in mid installation. Please Tell me a way to fix my computer! the first person whos answer solves my problem gets 10 points. Thanks you dudes and dudets are my only hope.
